To mark the start of the FIFA 2006 World Cup in Germany, International property investment specialists TheMoveChannel.com have launched a Property Investment World Cup Challenge Game offering the chance to win a pair of flights to Brazil, home of the reigning World Cup holders.
The Property Investment World Cup Challenge is a flash-based online property investment game based around the countries participating in this summer’s World Cup finals.
The challenge works along the lines of the classic Top Trumps card game, but instead of categories based around football, it’s your knowledge and skills in international property investment that are being tested.
Pick your team and you’ll go head to head with opponents randomly picked by the computer. To progress, your team will need to outperform the opposition in a best-of-5 shootout that will determine the property investment winner.
If you really know your stuff and play to the strengths of your chosen country, you might just make it through to the final and hold aloft the much-coveted Property World Cup!
All those people who manage to get as far as winning the final will then be entered into a free prize draw to win a pair of flights to Brazil, with the draw to be held on July 10th, the day after the World Cup final.
Dan Johnson, Director of The Move Channel commented: "The Property Investment World Cup Challenge is intended as a light-hearted game that highlights the wealth of opportunities currently out there in the world of international property investment."
"It demonstrates that there is no single best country as far as property investment is concerned – the optimal choice for any individual depends on a whole host of factors. Personal financial circumstances, attitudes to risk, the level of involvement required in managing the investment and any lifestyle aspirations are just a few of the issues that need to be considered."
"We hope the game will demonstrate that there are many different ways of thinking about countries as investment destinations, which can be contradictory in the picture they paint."
When asked who he thought were the favourites, Johnson added: "It’s a very open competition, with around half the countries having a chance of going all the way. Some of the traditional favourites such as France, Spain and England are likely to be heavily backed, but the smarter money is on the emerging markets, such as those in Central and Eastern Europe, or South America. Keep your eye out for one or two surprises in there as well…"
