Dubai may soon become an even more enticing investment proposition as the proportion of UK tourists to the country swells....
Dubai’s tourism and culture department has just issued a revamped marketing strategy to attract British visitors which underlines the importance of the UK market for both tourism and trade.
Business visitors are already major patrons of Dubai, but the director general of Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, Khalid A bin Sulayem, now hopes to enlarge the leisure offer.
Attracting Britons to Dubai during the summer holidays should be a top priority, he said.
The department has already held meeting with representatives of tour operators promoting Dubai in the UK market to consider how to boost awareness of Dubai as a travel destination in the UK.
The holiday resort area around Hurghada, where a series of off-plan residential resorts are in development, was recently identified as a good investment prospect by Egypt Revealed.
